Artist Statement:
My artwork takes a celebratory look at my own self loathing and uncontrollable ego. In my work I dig deep into my subconscious and pull out whatever monsters, demons, sirens, and succubi are lurking.
Often times these themes are combined into works that feature entire canvases painted ultramarine blue, nude portraits, monster watercolors, and Chinese calligraphy of dirty words and phrases.
I love to use a variety of materials and processes in each project. Spray paint, acrylics, inks, sharpie, watercolor, stencils, garbage, etc.
